💛 Who We Serve

The Friendship Academy is a specialized early intervention transition program for children in Pre-K through 2nd grade who benefit from additional support in:

  • Executive functioning

  • Social–emotional development

  • Foundational academic skills

  • Behavioral and sensory regulation

  • Individualized learning

We proudly support children with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and behavioral challenges, providing a warm, structured environment where they can grow with confidence.

🎯 Our Approach

We believe every child thrives when learning feels safe, connected, and meaningful. Our program features:

✔ Small Class Sizes

10 students • 2 educators
Ensuring individualized attention and strong relationships.

✔ Personalized Support Plans (ISP)

Every child receives an Individual Support Plan reviewed and updated every three months to reflect growth and progress.

✔ Collaborative Care

We partner closely with RBTs, SLPs, OTs, and other support providers to ensure consistent, whole-child support across environments.

✔ Specialized Supports

  • Potty training assistance

  • Behavior support & self-regulation strategies

  • Sensory-based accommodations

📅 Program Schedule

Full-Day Program
Monday–Friday • 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM

A consistent routine supports learning, emotional regulation, independence, and confidence.

📘 Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and designed to support the whole child.

📖 Reading – Fundations

Structured literacy, phonics, decoding, and comprehension.

✍️ Writing – Handwriting Without Tears

Developing fine motor skills and clear, confident writing.

➕ Math – Everyday Math & Illustrative Mathematics

Hands-on, conceptual learning using games and real-world connections.

🔬 Science – Inquiry-Based Exploration

Experiments, nature walks, investigations, and discovery learning.

🌍 Social Studies – Community & Culture

Interactive lessons exploring geography, history, and community roles.

🎨 Weekly Enrichment

Art • Music • PE • Sensory Play • Nature-Based Learning

🧘‍♂️ Social–Emotional Learning

Daily instruction using our Formulas for Success framework:

🎒 Transition Support

When students complete the program, we help families identify the best next educational placement. We collaborate with receiving schools to share strategies and ensure a smooth, confident transition after 2nd grade.

💲 Tuition & Fees

Annual Tuition: $22,000
Includes: materials, field trips, and all classroom supplies
Application Fee: $50 (non-refundable)
Payment Options: annual, monthly, quarterly, or semester plans
